Edit request

Sometimes, after submitting a leave request, you may realize that you selected the wrong date, or forgot to include a reason. The Edit Leave feature allows you to update a pending leave request before it gets approved, so your manager reviews the correct information.

Prerequisites

  • You are logged into HUB.
  • Your leave request must still be in “Pending” status (not yet canceled, approved or rejected)

How often we do this?

Rarely — typically only when there is an error or change in the original leave request after submission.

Step-by-Step Guide

Follow these steps to cancel your leave request:

  1. Go to Work Management > Leave
  2. In My Leave tab, Find the pending request you wish to edit.
  3. Click “Edit” next to the request
  4. Update the necessary fields — such as dates, or reason.
  5. After reviewing your changes, click “Submit”.

Next step

Once submitted, the original request is updated and re-sent to your manager with the new details. Your manager will review the revised request and take action accordingly. You will receive a notification once the updated request is approved or rejected.
